About Anna

Anna is a registered clinical counsellor/psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families in private practice in Sydney’s Paddington. She also supervises, coaches and consults to clinical and corporate teams, boards, family offices and other governance structures.

Anna is trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy, and Bowen Family Systems Theory, and is a passionate scholar and teacher of systemic approaches to relationships, wellness and change. She brings 20 years of experience living, studying, and practicing the work of changing one’s life, and has a warm, authentic and life-affirming approach, grounded in practical wisdom and the science of relationship systems and the brain. She doesn't just talk from textbooks but loves what she does, and lives what she teaches.

Anna spent 5 years as the Family Therapist for leading in-patient treatment centre Byron Private, where she developed specialised knowledge in the treatment of addiction, trauma and mood disorders, and the complex relational dynamics and impacts that predictably unfold and often fuel the identified problem in couples/families, despite desperate efforts to the contrary.

Anna loves the challenge of working with complex organisational relationship systems (teams, governance boards, family offices, family businesses) where relationships and communication have become fraught, unproductive, conflictual or psychosocially hazardous. Anna helps restore safety and respect, productive communication, effective leadership and forward momentum.
